The Girls' Varsity Track & Field team traveled to Borden on Saturday for a 12-team invitational.  Here are the standouts:Amber Fields - 6th place & a PR in Long Jump, Maggie Shaw - 2nd in 100 Hurdles, 2nd in 300 Hurdles, and 3rd in High Jump with a PR of 5'0". Zetta Gore - 1st place in Shot Put & 8th place in Discus, Lori Albright - 7th place in Discus & 8th place in Shot Put, Abbi Haviland, Chloe Spencer, Katrina Sipes, & Amber Fields also had a personal best in the 400 Relay.Give these girls a high five when you see them.  Our next meet is on Thursday on our home track.

  2. Junior High Band and Chorus students, bring homework to class today.

  3. There is a bag in the HS office with a towel and clothes in it left from post prom, if yours please come claim!!!!!!!

  4. There will be basketball conditioning after school Tuesdays and Thursdays until 4:30 for any girl 7th through 11th grade that is not participating in a spring sport

  5. Martin County Farm Bureau, Inc. Scholarship:  Applicant must be a graduating senior, from a family who has been a member of Indiana Farm Bureau for a period of two years prior to application.  $750.  You mustreturn the application to the Farm Bureau Insurance office in Loogootee byMay 5th , 2017.  Mr. Sherfick has application copies.

  6. Senior High Academic Team, Tuesday, April 18 is the Area Meet.  We are leaving at 2:50 p.m.  Please see Mrs. Rue or Mr. Stephenson on Monday, April 17 if you do not plan to attend.
