March 9, 2017

Parents and guardians of students who will be entering high school in the fall of 2017 are encouraged to attending an academic planning meeting. The meeting will be held in the Shoals High School library on Thursday, March 9th, beginning at 6:00 PM. School Counselor Larry Sherfick will present academic information regarding the Indiana Department of Education diploma plans and graduation requirements, as well as other related topics. Eligibility for the 21st Century Scholars Program will be included. Mr. Sherfick has been meeting with 8th grade students at school, throughout the week, to introduce high school diploma planning and graduation requirements. All course requests and graduation plans should be reviewed and approved by parents. The parent/guardian meeting is an opportunity to get additional information about this important process. If you are unable to attend the March 9th meeting, and have questions about courses and academic planning, please contact Mr. Sherfick at: 812-247-2090, extension 203; This email address is being protected from spambots.
